Rose City Goods is a home decor and gift shop created with the idea that decor and design could be done uniquely and sustainably. “I felt like there was a need for beautifully designed, ethically made home decor items with a retro yet timeless aesthetic,” says Christie Pinese, owner of Rose City Goods. The shop’s contents stem from her love of handmade ceramics, textiles and all things vintage. “I am heavily inspired by decor and design trends of the 60s, 70s and 80s, and I try to balance that with quality items that are classic,” explains Pinese. Each piece is thoughtfully curated, and they carry an array of one-of-a-kind items, many of which are handmade. “My goal with this shop was for it not to feel like a store. When people enter the shop, I want them to feel like they are visiting a friend’s home.”

Dream shopper?

“Interior designers. I would love to see more of our goods in their clients’ homes.”
