The Union of Concerned Scientists and U.S. real estate website Zillow combined climate change and realty data and concluded that within 30 years there are more than 300,000 homes in the lower 48 states that are at risk of repeated flooding – as often as every two weeks. By the end of this century, 2.4 million homes currently worth about a trillion dollars, could face the same fate.
