Toque Tuesday educates and raises money to tackle homelessness

Feb. 5 was Toque Tuesday, and community members in Markham gathered at the Markham GO Transit Station to help raise money and support for Raising the Roof’s National Toque Campaign.
The team, which included members of HOMES Publishing Group (HPG), raised money and awareness for Raising the Roof, which supports local agencies in the fight against homelessness nationally and here in our community. A large portion of the funds raised will go towards community partner agencies.
The Markham group, lead by Sonia Presotto and Raising the Roof board member Josh Rosset, both of HPG, raised $2,200 in toque sales and donations to support Toque Tuesday.
