TANU is a carefully shaped residence that speaks of quality and craftsmanship

Living in Port Credit is like being part of a small town but with all the perks of the big city. Just a 22-minute GO Train ride to downtown Toronto, Port Credit Village is a lakeside oasis full of small shops, intimate restaurants and historic charm. With Toronto and Mississauga continuously booming, it’s rare to find a place so close by that still possesses a strong sense of community and belonging to its guests and inhabitants. Residents say Port Credit is their forever home, and many generations of families live within blocks of one another.

Local developer, Edenshaw, has created a new address in Port Credit for those looking to join the village on the water with their bespoke condos and townhouses at TANU, a 15-storey residence on Park Street designed by award-wining architecture and design firms, IBI Group and TACT Design. The friendly, small-town ambiance of Port Credit inspires this carefully shaped residence that speaks of quality and craftsmanship. TANU also offers proximity to both Lake Ontario and the Credit River, lush parks and trails, and is just a five-minute walk to the GO Train, MiWay and the planned Hurontario LRT at the adjacent Mobility Hub.

What makes Port Credit so special? The picturesque waterfront has marinas, parks and trails that invite residents to walk, bike, run or stroll year-round. And despite its small-town character, Port Credit certainly isn’t sleepy. There are more than 60 restaurants offering fare from gourmet pizza and burritos to seafood and raw food. Known and respected as home to one of Canada’s most successful main streets, Port Credit boasts over 400 unique retail shops, boutiques, and services. This “Village on the Lake” is hailed as Mississauga’s premier cultural, entertainment, and culinary district due to its array of eateries and award-winning festivals and events.

While residents of Port Credit – and soon-to-be homeowners at TANU – can look forward to summers at the harbourfront patios and holiday shopping down Lakeshore Road in the winter, perhaps the most attractive quality of the township is the abiding sense of community one experiences from shopowners who know their customers by name, friendly neighbours walking their dogs, or the familiar running clubs coming down the trails. David McComb, Edenshaw’s CEO, is a long-time resident of Port Credit himself, and is dedicated to ensuring this exceptional community continues to flourish.
