Celebrity design and style – Flip it Like Disick
Are you curious about who remodeled DJ Steve Aoki’s Las Vegas crib? Or ever wondered about the designer behind French Montana’s wild jungle-themed theatre? The answer may surprise you.
lReality TV fans and home decor lovers alike can now watch Scott Disick renovate and design celebrity homes on his new house flipping show, Flip it Like Disick. The series is available for Canadians to stream or download on hayu (as well as on E! Sunday nights at 9 p.m.), and features everything from sleek, minimalistic mansions to unconventional children’s playhouses.
A passion for fashion and interior design
Those who are familiar with Disick know that he has long been interested in fashion (he has his own clothing line ironically named Talentless), so it’s not surprising that he is also interested in interior design, as the two often go hand-in-hand. And those who’ve watched Disick on Keeping Up with the Kardashians now get to see another surprising side of him.
“I’m excited to bring fans a new series that shows what I’m really passionate about professionally, which is flipping real estate and doing crazy and impressive renovations on celebrity homes,” says Disick. “It’s a bit different than viewers are used to seeing, but I think they will be both entertained and inspired by my team.”
An unlikely, hilarious, entertaining team
Fuelled by his passion for property development (which began five years ago following his first house flipping success), Flip it Like Disick stars Disick alongside his hilarious, headstrong team. This unlikely cast includes former pop singer-turned-interior designer, Willa Ford; best friend and business partner, Benny Luciano; the all-star short-tempered contractor, Miki Moor, and Disick’s loyal assistant, Lindsay Diamond.
Bold, dramatic designs wow viewers
Disick appears to favour the luxe 1970s style that is very of the moment, punctuated by bold, dramatic accent pieces.
Rave reviews – a source of inspiration and escapism
Whether you’re looking for inspiration to remodel your home or simply interested in escapism entertainment after a long day at the office, look no further than Flip it Like Disick. The series has received rave reviews since its early August launch, and the remainder of the series promises to wow viewers with more daring designs.
