Bosch Brute Tough 36V Drill and 36V Hammer Drill
Bosch adds two new 36V tools to its lineup with the Brute Tough Drill/Driver and Hammer Drill/Driver. Both promise long runtimes and all the power of corded models. But with power comes responsibility. The tools include integrated acceleration sensors that detect the sudden movement of a bit-binding situation and shut down the motor to limit tool rotation. Bottom line, you’re less likely to get injured. Electronics in the tool protect the battery, too, from overload, overheating, and deep discharge; the motor is similarly protected with integrated temperature management.
