Parking Lot – Or Time Machine?!?

topic of the articles

We’ve probably all had some interesting and unusual finds during jobsite demolition, from old coins and newspapers, to desiccated animal carcasses. Workers demolishing a derelict multi-storey parking lot in Edinburgh found something worth a bit more: several cars their owners inexplicably left behind. The parking lot was supposed to be a technological marvel when it opened in 2001. Drivers would pull into a designated parking area, exit the vehicle, and then it would be automatically stored and later retried via a series of elevators and conveyors. The lot closed two years later and apparently several people decided they no longer needed their rides.
