Lakeshore Village luxury townhomes in South Etobicoke

Situated on the actual parcel of land where Degrassi High was filmed, the newest townhouse project by Dunpar Homes broke ground at the beginning of October. Located at 68 Daisy Avenue in South Etobicoke, this is the site of the original Vincent Massey Public School – well-known for the filming of the iconic television program. Now this location will become known for Lakeshore Village.
The groundbreaking event took place on the grounds of the old school. When Dunpar Homes purchased the former public school property, it included an existing daycare facility. Instead of demolishing the building and moving the daycare facility, Dunpar worked closely with both the daycare operator, and the city, in order to preserve the heritage building, as well as the daycare. Vincent Massey Academy is a bustling facility that accommodates more than 200 children. Amber Halcovitch and Katie Cachia, who work for the academy, were on hand to participate in the groundbreaking event.Dunpar COO, Michael DiPasquale, as well as other Dunpar employees, donned their hard hats and dug in their shovels, alongside David and Mary-Anne Popescu. The Popescus purchased their very first home from Dunpar in 1994 and raised their family there. Now that they are empty nesters, they are looking forward to moving into their brand new home next year at Lakeshore Village.

Located close to Lake Ontario, and with miles of hiking and biking trails nearby, Lakeshore Village is a collection of 73 luxury townhomes. Each home features three bedrooms and includes two-car parking.
