How Kitchen + Bath Canada is rocking its seminars
Members of the design industry may have seen ads on nexthome.ca and elsewhere on the Internet for this brand new in-person trade show – Kitchen + Bath Canada – and noted it and moved on, and maybe dismissed it. What you may not know is the intelligence and love going on behind the scenes to create something great in the trade show space.
Don’t worry, this isn’t going to be the whole article, just some context. The director of the show has experience working for one of the largest design industry trade shows in the GTA among his 30-plus years of experience, and having worked with him for the past few months, he took the best parts and combined it with what can be done much better. What will result from this in the years to come is a show that cares about attendees and exhibitors first, and the bottom line second.
Case in point: The seminar offering. This is a very obvious space to cut in the first year of a trade show – or just give in to allowing venders to present about their project – you clearly have enough to worry about. But the team at The Expo Hut was passionate about offering something better and reaching out to the interior design and architecture community to attract those attendees to the show.
So, I came on board as an ARIDO member, and someone who has a deep love for the many parts of our community (from architect to decorator to stager and behind the scenes with the sales reps, manufacturers, contractors and trades – and everyone else) to be the chair of the advisory committee for the conference, being the guiding hand for the conference.
As someone who’s been working hard on the conference portion, the quality of the speakers and seminars is top-notch. We’re bring you engaging, educational speakers on topics that really matter to your business and giving you information you can use and actionable steps to use to move forward.
I invite you to visit the Kitchen + Bath Canada Website to check out the full descriptions for each of the seminars and register to attend. For now, here’s a taste below of the great seminars we’ll be offering for free to attendees:
