For five years in a row MoneySense magazine has named Burlington the best mid-sized city in Canada, as well as the second-best city in Ontario. Located on Lake Ontario, the city offers residents a safe and friendly environment, as well as fabulous restaurants, shopping, festivals, events and a culturally rich arts community. Gallery Condos + Lofts will place residents in the centre of it all.

BURLINGTON ROCKS

There's no shortage of things to do in, and around, Burlington, including music, dance and theatre performances at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre, and featured exhibits at the Art Gallery of Burlington. Residents will be able to walk to fine eateries and bistros, and stroll to Spencer Smith Park, with its scenic waterfront promenade. The boardwalk is a favourite destination for joggers, cyclists and walkers. The park also hosts numerous events, including the Sound of Music Festival and Ribfest. The Brant Street Pier extends 132 metres out into Lake Ontario and provides breathtaking views of the the city's shoreline. The area is served by three GO stations and several major highways, making it easy to travel to downtown Toronto, to indulge in neighbouring Hamilton's burgeoning food scene, or to visit Niagara wine country for a weekend escape.

ARTISTIC INTERPRETATION

Gallery Condos + Lofts will be located at Brant and James in downtown Burlington, and was inspired by the city's vibrant arts scene. Carriage Gate Homes is working with local artists and will feature their art throughout the building. The company has been building award-winning communities in southwestern Ontario for more than 30 years. The 22-storey building will feature a four-storey podium with a unique cutaway corner, and a wide streetscape. The rooftop will feature barbecues, a fire feature and stunning views in every direction. Also included is a fitness facility, along with a yoga studio with an indoor/outdoor stretching area and a heated indoor pool with lounge areas, as well as a multi-purpose party room with a bar and dining room.Large balconies and chef-style kitchens augment each of the 161 open-concept suites. Units with lofts are available on the gallery level, and highlight urban finishes like 10- foot ceilings and barn doors. The master ensuite in the loft units include a one-of-a-kind, four-piece spa bath. This signature feature places the tub in a five- by five-foot room for a totally relaxing environment. "We are incorporating a lot of custom home features into our condo suites, in order to bring added value to our customers," says Nick Carnicelli, president of Carriage Gate.

THE BERKELEY
