The Cosentino City Toronto Showroom recently welcomed more than 100 guests as it transformed into an exclusive art gallery for the second CosArt event in support of the Children’s Breakfast Club. The charity works with more than 20 community partners to provide a balanced, nutritious and culturally appropriate breakfast program for low income children in some of Toronto’s most disadvantaged communities. A total of $635 in donations was collected throughout the evening, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going directly towards the organization.

Cosentino showcased photography from Tony Koukos, an accomplished photographer in the design world known for his world travel photography and mixed medium approach, including photo overlays on metal, glass, canvas and acrylic. A portion of sales from his photography displayed at the showroom will be donated to The Children’s Breakfast Club.

“It was an honour having my work exhibited at the Cosentino Toronto CosArt event in support of the Children’s Breakfast Club,” says Koukos. “The event gave guests the opportunity to not only enjoy an evening of artistic photography, but also raised awareness for a fantastic local organization dedicated to children in need. I was happy to be a part of it.”

The CosArt event would not be possible without the help of Stellar Art Services, Toronto’s preferred art services company for the interior design community. Stellar installed 50 of Koukos’ pieces throughout the Cosentino Toronto City Showroom, which will remain at the showroom into the new year.

“On behalf of Cosentino, we look forward to hosting more of these charity related events in the showroom,” says Suzy Margorian, Cosentino City Toronto showroom manager.“It gives us a chance to give back to the community in a special way. We are thankful to have had the support from Tony and Stellar Art Services to make this edition of CosArt a reality.”

Koukos’ pieces will be on display for general public until Jan. 15, 2019 at the Cosentino Toronto City Centre showroom, 665 Caledonia Rd. For those interested in purchasing one of his pieces, contact tony@tonykoukos.com

The showroom will also be collecting new or gently used coats for The Children’s Breakfast Club Annual Coat Drive from now until Feb. 15, 2019.
