Buster + Punch’s ELECTRICITY Collection, new and approved for North America, gives the traditional light switch an edgy twist.
Buster + Punch’s ELECTRICITY collection is an edgy and hip upgrade to traditional electrical switches and outlets. Hasn’t the light switch been overlooked long enough? It is the one thing that people touch every single day – and mostly without even notice. Inspired by Massimo Minale’s love for rock music, ELECTRICITY is made from solid metals and the toggles and dimmer knobs are finished with Buster + Punch’s signature knurling. The metal wall plates are then finished with specially designed penny button screws – as an essential accent. The collection is available in either complete sets or in modular custom components – available in more than 11 different finish combinations – choosing from a mix of steel, brass, smoked bronze, black and white. ELECTRICITY works perfectly in both residential and commercial settings and comes to life when used to ‘switch on’ a Buster + Punch light. The collection has been engineered and code approved for North America.
As part of the brand introduction, Buster + Punch created a short movie, SWITCH UP, that features the ELECTRICITY switches as a clever and interactive element used to switch perceptions – both physically and philosophically. SWITCH UP follows the journey of Buster and Punch; two female, motorbike riding, cyborgs who have been sent from the future to eliminate mundane, plastic home fittings and replace them with strong, solid metal details.
The industrial yet refined ELECTRICITY collection includes solid metal light switches, dimmers, USB sockets and power outlets – all with matching (or contrasting) wall plates and detail kits).
DIMMER
Turn the volume up and amplify any room with the single DIMMER switch. Inspired by the look and feel of iconic guitar knobs, the DIMMER switch is made from solid metal with a diamond-cut knurled knob. Finished with a flat wall plate and the signature solid metal penny buttons, the cutting-edge DIMMER is activated with a push of the knurled knob and dimming is controlled like a control.
POWER Outlets and Combination USB Socket Configurations
Unlike traditional power outlets, the USB Sockets are offered as combination duplex outlets and USB chargers for maximum convenience. The POWER Outlet has two to four separate sockets in a single smooth plate made from solid metal and are finished with the signature solid metal penny buttons.
TOGGLE Switch
Be in control of the show with a flip of the single TOGGLE switch. Made from solid metal with a diamond-cut knurled switch and a tactile feel. Inspired by vintage amps, the switch is finished with a flat plate and the signature solid metal penny buttons. The TOGGLE switches are available as a single, double, triple and 3-way switch option.
USB Socket
Industrial innovation and convenience fuse together with the unique design of the USB chargers. The USB chargers feature two-gang to four-gang separate USB sockets in a single plate made from solid metal and finished with the signature solid metal penny buttons. These chargers are offered in two options with four USB sockets or two USB sockets and two receptacles on a single flat trim plate.
