Toronto Fall Home Show 2017 – ReCap

teb Interiors Inc. had the distinct honour of designing this years RENO & DECOR Design Intervention booth at the 2017 Fall Home Show and I have to say that it was an exhilarating experience.  It was an amazing creative outlet for us to help bend minds into thinking outside of the box. We have always been about trying to expand people’s thoughts and take them beyond their comfort zone and to not have so much fear about what other people will think of your space.

Allow your personality to shine through and let everyone else see it and embrace it.  You’re worth it!

Of course, this was not a one man show.  First of all, HOMES Publishing Group allowed us full freedom on whatever we could conjure up without any road blocks, so that opened the flood gates.  We received an overwhelming amount of support from some of our suppliers like, Rustik Design who, on top of enchanting the booth walls with his own artwork, custom made all the little skull corner pieces that complimented all the panel moulding that wrapped the booth.  Speaking of the panel moulding, Metrie is now our favourite ‘go to’ for moulding and doors.  They were more than willing to shower us with all the baseboard and panel moulding we needed to accomplish our goals.  The we needed to fill the space with furniture so in true fashion, our close friends at Design Republic stepped up to the plate and gave us anything and everything we needed.  Digging those rustic and industrial light fixtures?  Those are the brain children of Adam Fullerton, make sure you check out his Instagram, especially the custom ceiling light fixture he created out of a vintage Drum kit.  But I have to say that the one thing that reached out and lured people to the booth had to be the custom wallpapers.  Especially the Wonder Woman vignette.  Ruth Baker Design and teb Interiors Inc. are a force not to be reckoned with when it comes to creating outstanding custom wallpapers and murals.  I double dog dare you to argue that point.

Was it exhausting?  Hell, yeah.  Would we do it again?  Abso-freaking-lutely.  You may just see us again sooner than you think.
