Stanley Black & Decker, the parent company that owns DeWalt, Bostitch, and various other well-known tool brands has recently added some more marquee names to their line-up: Irwin, Lennox and, perhaps most-significantly of all, Craftsman. In a likely sign that the once great retail empire’s days are numbered, Sears has sold off the rights to its iconic tool line in order to stay afloat a while longer.
