Workers on a construction site in Allen, Texas, had to duck and cover after a neighbour opened fire because they were “irritating” him. Granted, the work was being done in the middle of the night, but the company had applied for a special permit to pour concrete at 2 am, and area residents had been notified.
After yelling at the workers about their lights disturbing his sleep, the 75-year-old man went back into his apartment to retrieve a rifle. No one was injured, but the man was arrested and charged with deadly conduct.
“I don’t think he was trying to hurt anybody, I think he was just frustrated,” the shell-shocked jobsite superintendent told a local news station.
